Did you Know?
In 2024, GCCL brought in 543 items upon patron requests through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. We lent our items to other libraries 479 times.
If GCCL does not have an item you are looking for, we can borrow it from another library. ILL's allow patrons to borrow materials that are held by another library. It facilitates the sharing of resources across different library systems, providing access to materials unavailable in the local library.

Public Meeting Space
The public meeting space downstairs is available to the public. The facilities can be reserved for your meetings during library hours free of charge. To check for availability and make a reservation, please contact us at the library at 406-228-2731 or send an email through the contact page on our website.

Returning Materials: If you or anyone in your household is feeling ill, please hold onto your items. You can contact us to renew, and we will waive any late charges. The library offers curbside services if needed.

Online Holds: Patrons may place holds on materials for pick-up through their online account. Library staff will fulfill online holds and contact patrons when items are ready.

Story Time ​
Story time is every Thursday at 10AM September 19th through May at the library. Please keep in mind that plans are subject to change, especially around holidays. We post virtual story time on Facebook from time to time and hand out activity kits some weeks. Please watch for updates.
