Library Cards.
​Library cards are free to all residents and property owners of Valley County, some neighboring county residents, and Railroad workers. All others may obtain a 6 month temporary Glasgow Library card for $10 dollars. Adults are required to show a picture ID and proof of residency. Upon completion of the application, a patron may check out up to 2 items until their application is processed and they receive their card in the mail.
Loan Periods.
Books - 4 weeks.
New adult fiction books - 2 weeks.
Books on CD - 2 weeks
E-Books & audiobooks on MT2Go - 2 weeks
DVDs - 1 week

Check out Limits.
Adult patrons may have up to 25 items out at any one time. These items may include any number of books, 5 magazines, 5 DVDs, 5 CDs and 5 books on CD.
Children with library cards may check out up to 10 items, which can include 2 magazines, 2 DVDs, and 2 CDs. Children under 13 may only check out DVDs from the children's section (as these are all rated G or PG). Children 13 and older may check out DVDs from the children's or adult section but the DVDs may not be rated R.
Temporary card holders may check out 2 items at a time.

Books - $.10 cents per day
DVDs - $.25 cents per day
Damaged items - Cost of repair or replacement or original purchase.
